.Teacher Profile

Syama Kumari dd has been practicing some form of yoga since she was 7 years old. She really deepened her practice at University whilst studying public health and nursing. The impact it had on her well-being was very noticeable. Especially helping her manage my stress levels and helping her connect to the depths of life.

Yoga is the sister science to Ayurveda. Yoga is both the physical asana and philosophy, which has helped her build her own physical and mental strength over the years, helping her function at her optimal. It’s fascinating how Asana and Ayurveda are connected! As a Bhakti Yogini she will be inter-twining, life, asana (posture practice), Ayurveda (science of life) and Bhakti (the yoga of devotion) together as these aspects have been crucial for her own growth, she hopes to share them with you.
