Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Meals on Wheels Prasadam Seva brought festive joy and nourishment to Vaishnavas by way of delivering warm prasadam during the Christmas period and New Year.
This heartwarming initiative, powered by The Devotee Care Office (DCO) and the commitment and enthusiasm of the Volunteers Care Council (VCC) brought a smile to the faces of Srila Prabhupada disciples, senior members and devotees in need, within Watford, Bushey and Borehamwood.
Organising the festive service was a collective effort from various other departments, including the dedicated kitchen staff who prepared the meals, the Volunteers Council who continue to support the Devotee Care office who coordinated logistics to ensure that devotees had prasadam this holiday season.
“A special thank you to the volunteer drivers Anant prabhu, Vasavi Mataji, Naren prabhu and Harish prabhu,” declared Hemangi dasi of the DCO. “Their selfless service embodies the spirit of compassion and community, making this offering a true reflection of Vaishnava values. Heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone involved for spreading Krishna’s love through care and kindness in 2024!”

Also, every Thursday, the volunteers pack together 70 meals for distribution to those in need. The Watford-based charity One Vision collect and distribute them to the old and sick.
