An exciting and rare opportunity to apply for a performing arts production manager role at the Manor’s School of Bhakti.
Ideally suited for a confident, energetic and intelligent individual wanting to create, manage and deliver outreach events based on the arts like drama, music and dance.
Outline of Service:
To assist the School of Bhakti in delivering high quality productions and shows to entertain, inspire and uplift the community and wider audiences into the wealth Indian history and culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- deliver a minimum of 2 feature length drama productions per year, each production shown at least 2 nights, and across a minimum of 2 locations per year
- deliver a performance/ interactive experience for the School of Bhakti Janmastami tent experience
- deliver an annual cultural show showcasing dance, music, art, magic and other such offerings
- work onsite at the Manor one weekend day per week; either a Saturday or Sunday
- develop a core cast of performers, keeping them inspired to contribute to this cause as service
- build a database of key contacts and suppliers in regards to productions, props, performers and media
Core Competencies:

Proficient with use of Microsoft and Google sheets to help manage tasks, budgets and projects.
- Confident public speaker
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to either work solo or in a team,
- Commitment to meet targets and deadlines
- Desirable though not essential, experience of working in drama or theatre
- Desirable though not essential – Experience and understanding of Vaishnava Hinduism and willing to abide by Vaishnava Hindu practices in the workplace.
