A new 2.4 metre-high security fence made of galvanised metal has been put up in reaction to a recent spate of vandalism on Bhaktivedanta Manor’s estate. The fence stretches along the south perimeter boundary of the estate, from adjacent to the Letchmore Heath village pond all the way to the front gate at Hilfield Lane.
“After a number night-time security breaches and vandalism by youths were brought to the attention of the Manor’s Patrons’ Working Committee (PWC), we decided to take immediate action,” explained Syamasunder das, Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Grounds Manager.
