Bhaktivedanta Manor Communications Team member Alpesh Patel chanted Hare Krishna, Sanskrit prayers for peace and then lit the ceremonial diva at the Labour Friends of India’s Diwali function.

Held at the Labour Party Head Office in central London, Leader of the Opposition Rt Hon Keir Starmer MP and the Deputy Leader Rt Hon Angela Rayner MP also lit divas.

During their following speeches Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner mentioned all the good work ISKCON had done during the pandemic.

The event was organised by Rajesh Agrawal Deputy Mayor of London and Darren Jones MP, Co-Chairmen of the Labour Friends of India.
