Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Sri Krishna Haveli, is blessed with a huge kirtan hall where devotees and well-wishers from all around the world can come together to chant Hare Krishna.

During the last weekend of June there was a particularly special opportunity for the whole community to dive deeper into the power and nectar of the Holy Names,  in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Bhaktivedanta Manor.

The jubilant weekend included themed classes, workshops for adults and children alike and of course ecstatic kirtan!

The Holy Name Immersion Weekend was blessed with special guests including Indradyumna Swami, Mahatma Das, Bada Haridas, Vaisesika Das, Kripamoya Das, Sri Prahlada Das and more.

The holy name of Krsna is so attractive that anyone who chants it−including all living entities, moving and non-moving, and even Lord Krsna Himself−becomes imbued with love of Krsna. This is the effect of chanting the Hare Krsna maha mantra.

The Absolute Truth is Sri Krsna, and loving devotion to Sri Krsna exhibited in pure love is achieved through congregational chanting of the holy name, which is the essence of all bliss.

As a result of chanting the Hare Krsna maha mantra, one makes such great advancement in spiritual life that simultaneously his material existence terminates and he receives love of Godhead. The holy name of Krsna is so powerful that by chanting even one name, one very easily achieves these transcendental riches.
