Sitayana Katha: Entering Fire, Forest & Earth
We have always been shown on media and in literatures how Sita was treated unfairly and victimised in key moments of the Ramayana. Yet she stands with Lord Rama in temples. Why? What important insights are missing? In Sitayana Katha continues, we will cover: Why did Sita accept the fire ordeal, why did Rama doubt Her purity? Thereafter, why did he send Sita to exile again 12 years later, alone and that too while pregnant. Despite the repeated reassurance from the greatest sage on Earth, the author of the Ramayana, why did Rama again doubt Sita, after which she entered the Earth to put an end to future questions. Join us on Sunday 24th November, where we will explore missing insights and hear from Sita’s own words, her perspective of the Ramayana.
