On 26th December, Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Shri Krishna Haveli staged its annual Gita Jayanti festival.
Many community devotees of all ages took on leading roles, including the Sanskrit recitation of the Gita, commentaries, the fire yajna, music and introductions.
In accordance with government COVID regulations, all those who attended were LFT tested and social distancing was facilitated. Meanwhile devotees witnessed the event online via no less than 500 devices.
Over 2000 Bhagavad-gitas were sponsored for the event, which will later be distributed to institutions such as hospitals, libraries and prisons.
