Unit 3 – Jnana Yoga (ch 13-18)

This module is an integral part of the Bhakti Sastri Qualification. The program consists of six modules, each spanning ten weeks. Conducted exclusively onsite, this course delves deeply into the various topics covered by each module. While assessments at the end of each module are optional, successfully completing all required assessments across the six modules will earn you the prestigious Bhakti Sastri Qualification. Notably, there is no strict order for completing the modules; the flexible approach of this module-style Bhakti Sastri allows you to choose your own sequence.

Course Summary

If you want to stay in Krishna Consciousness you will have to develop firm faith in Guru and Sastra. Therefore you must study my books very scrutinizingly. (Srila Prabhupada)

These words of our founder acharya stands true forever and thus School of Bhakti is very excited to bring forward for the pleasure of Guru and to facilitate this deep study of the Sastras this new flagship course called the In depth Study of the Sastras.

We aim to facilitate the devotees to delve deeper into the four books recommended by Srila Prabhupada in order for them to feel the joy in a life dovetailed to Krishna in Bhakti.

Bhagavad Gita – Unit 3 – Jnana yoga (Chapters 13 to 18)

This unit gives a detailed understanding of the Vedanta teachings of jnana yoga. The final six chapters reveal how the living entity comes into contact with material nature,
how he is entangled, and how he is delivered by the Supreme Lord through cultivation of knowledge (jnana) and devotional service (bhakti). The Bhagavad Gita is actually finished in seventeen chapters as chapter eighteen gives a summary of all previous instructions. The final chapter ends with Lord Krishna disclosing His most confidential instruction.
