70 first-timers new to the culture came to the Manor for a retreat entitled ‘Simple’, named after the Krishna Conscious principle of ‘simple living and high thinking’.

Soon afterwards, excited guests spent quality time with the cows: milking, brushing, cuddling them, as well as learning about New Gokul project and cow protection.

Participants also dug their hands in the soil with planting, weeding and general maintenance of the crops at the Manor’s Holland Farm. They also got take hand-picked organic crops home!
In-line with the mood of which ISKCON is famed, there was also rocking kirtan and delicious vegetarian and vegan food (prasadam).
“It was a wonderful day that was filled with joy, and new experiences,” explained Kishori Yogini dasi.
All of the guests were either visitors to krishnawisdom.com or contacts of the book distribution team overseen by Antaranga das.
