Bhaktivedanta Manor is famed for welcoming a diverse range of different groups, to teach its members about Krishna Consciousness and its values.
For example, recently Mahimarnava das has hosted leading members of the local philanthropic community charity, One Vision.
Not long before, members of the technology company Hewlett-Packard (HP) came to serve at the Manor as part of their ‘giving back to community’ program. They helped @newgokulfarm for few hours, grooming the elderly cows, setting bedding for them and ensuring that the barn was cleaned.
They also had a tour of the temple, and an opportunity to learn a bit about the Gita, Bhakti and how they can implement it into their workspace.
Feedback from other group members:
“So pleased to have had the opportunity to visit the temple where we were made to feel very welcome. Mahimarnava gave an inspiring talk and gave us time to reflect in this spiritual space. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality and sharing a delicious feast. I will definitely recommend the temple to my friends and colleagues and I am already looking forward to my next visit!”
“What a most wonderful visit. Such a serene place that offers you the time and place to reflect in a safe beautiful environment. Great event, great guide, great food, I will definitely be back with friends to share the experience”.
“A wonderful day to reflect and relax! It was so interesting to find out about the history behind the temple, it felt like a welcoming space and was a brilliant experience – provided some really lovely reflections to take back into our work and life!”
