We are celebrating this month of December as World Gita Month. It is a new initiative that aims to unite our communities worldwide and celebrate the knowledge of the Bhagavad Gita, the world renowned literature.
People are suffering in this material world due to their lack of this transcendental knowledge. By distributing Bhagavad Gita you can help re-spiritualise the society at large and by giving this knowledge to others you can also become dear to Lord Sri Krishna. Giving scriptures to others is an act of the greatest charity and it gives immerse benefits to all party involves.
The purpose of Shaastra Daan is to enable you to participate directly in the missionary activities of distributing Srila Prabhupada's books by sponsoring them to those who cannot afford it. By placing donated books in locations where they are properly kept and read, such as villages, Libraries, Schools, Colleges, Universities, and other public areas. This year we also hope to send Bhagavad Gita’s to countries such as Ukraine, South Africa & India. So kindly participate in this noble cause.
